Job Summary:

QTC is seeking an Operational Improvement Technical Project Manager. The Innovation and Operational Improvement Department is responsible to transform the current business to become more sustainable, innovative, and inclusive through strategic planning, in-depth analysis of key issues, and interprofessional collaboration.

The Technical Manager of the Operational Improvement team is responsible for the strategic oversight, project management, execution, and delivery of innovative solutions (from concept to end-users) supporting all QTC Divisions. This leader is responsible for advanced ideation projects, including product and process solutions, and is responsible for bringing all assigned innovative advanced concept briefs to executable implementation. This role requires a creative problem-solver, strong in understanding business strategy. The individual must have the ability to collaborate and communicate with all divisions within QTC, manage multiple projects, and innovate, in order to allow the business to become more agile and responsive to ever-changing business and client needs. This is an unique role that requires the ability to work cross-functionally, innovate with a global mindset, and develop products and processes that will drive positive change across the entire organization. Success for this role will be delivering innovative solutions with a robust process and structure. This role is also responsible to manage metrics, and conduct analysis and reporting to senior leadership. This individual will ensure ongoing coaching, developing, and training of team members for a productive work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as in-house authority on innovation project management principles and knowledge areas: Scope, time, cost, quality, communication, risk, and stakeholder management
  • Support and maintain project management framework including standards, tools, and procedures for reporting and record-keeping
  • Consultative role to subject matter experts throughout the company, bridging their expertise to various strategic initiatives across the enterprise
  • Recognize new innovation project opportunities based on current trends, gaps, and client feedback.
  • Act as a link between the innovation initiatives and the enterprise to screen new ideas and business opportunities
  • Lead/Manage the innovation pipeline and team. Is responsible for the oversight and growth of the Operational Improvement team
  • Close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders as defined by a project
  • Responsible for maintaining financial discipline for each project and maintaining the budget allotted for each initiative
  • Future-proofing the business; seeing what comes next and helping to prepare the organization to navigate through the upcoming potential trends
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Pay and Benefits:

Salary range: $105,000 - $129,000

The QTC pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses):

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferably in a healthcare related field or equivalent experience/combined education; Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant leadership experience
  • Project Management experience, highly desired
  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
