Job Summary

The Operations Finance Manager will be a key business partner to cross-functional operations teams delivering key business insights, critical and timely reporting & analysis while supporting / leading major initiatives. They will also be the key catalyst for driving continuous improvement in all areas of operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations leaders to develop and monitor KPIs.
• Provide / support daily, weekly & monthly reporting and analyses requirements.
• Perform make vs buy analyses and present proposal to leadership team.
• Support / lead ‘should be’ or ‘white sheet’ cost analyses
• Support / lead cost estimating of new manufactured items.
• Lead capital planning process and capex ROI analysis for equipment and other operations related investments.
• Actively participate in the annual planning and KPI target setting.
• Lead the annual standards setting and monthly variation analysis
• Perform risk and opportunities analyses to support resource allocations.
• Lead Inventory forecast & analyses to identify excess, obsolete and slow-moving inventory with the goal of reducing working capital to appropriate levels.
• Track, analyze and report sourcing related savings.
• Support month end requirements as needed.
• Participate in software implementations as required.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Education:

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics strongly preferred

Experience:

• 7+years related experience in manufacturing or a related industry.
• 3-5 years’ experience in cost accounting preferred.
• Strong grasp of finance, analytical and modeling skills
• Experience in supporting forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Knowledge of statistical tools and business reporting
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and multitask

• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Access and PowerBI would be viewed favorably.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
