Order Entry Specialist

Job Description and Duties:

A customer-facing position in which the employee accurately inputs orders into a computer database (Sage 100). Duties include handling customer calls in a friendly, professional manner with an emphasis on superb customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include working closely with other departments such as sales, manufacturing, and shipping to maintain order accuracy and track the availability of products. Other duties include problem-solving, which often includes clarifying orders with salespeople and answering any questions that may delay processing. General office duties as needed.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Familiarity with ERP software (Sage, SAP, etc.) is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to provide clear, accurate communication.

Typing skills are helpful.

High school diploma or its equivalent.

Requires 1-2 years of general office work experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
