Job Description :

Sign-On Bonus: External applicants eligible for up to $4,000.00.

Sign-on bonus eligibility: Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.

This is a part time (0.2 - 0.4 Status), night shift Registered Nurse position in the Orthopedics department.

The RN utilizes nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in clinical setting, acts as patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.

Minimum Required: RN License required. BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire. Must have recent experience in a medical setting-acute care, clinical, or long term care facility in a caregiver role. Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.

Preferred / Desired: BSN Preferred. Prefer training in pain care management, and two (2) years of experience in Acute Care. Prefer recent rehabilitation experience.

Weekend Requirements: Every Third Weekend.

Experience

Required
  • Recent experience in a medical setting-acute care, clinical, or long term care facility in a caregiver role.
Preferred
  • 2 year(s): Recent rehabilitation experience.
  • Experience in Acute Care.
  • Training in pain care management.

Education

Required
  • Associates or better in Nursing
