Located in Chaffee County, Colorado this position offers a great way to get involved in a rural mountain town, help improve the health of our community, and live in one of the best areas to experience and take in the beautiful Colorado mountain scenery.

We are looking for someone to work part-time averaging 20-25 hours per week including most Saturdays. Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday 9:00AM-6:00PM and Saturday 9:00AM-1:00PM.

Immediate Supervisor: Pharmacy Manager

Essential Job Responsibilities:

1. Comply with all applicable company policies and procedures

2. Service and satisfy customers’ health care needs in and out of the pharmacy area

3. Maintain professional rapport with ordering physicians

4. Process prescriptions in a timely and accurate manner utilizing Pioneer Rx pharmacy system.

5. Provide vaccines, point of care tests, and state wide protocol counseling and prescribing.

6. Provide counseling and guidance to staff as needed

7. Maintain required reports

8. Ensure compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, rules and regulations

9. Perform other duties as assigned

Education: Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy, Vaccination Certification

Experience: One year Pharmacist experience preferred. Point of Care Testing preferred but not required

Other Requirements: Valid Colorado Pharmacist License

Equipment Operated: PioneerRx pharmacy system, pill counting machines, computers, standard retail machines to include POS system, telephones, copy machines, fax machines.

Work Environment: This position is in a fast paced, retail pharmacy environment.

Mental/Physical Requirements: Involves standing and walking 90% of the time.'

Pay: $48.00 - $57.00 per hour
