Action Powersports is a fast-paced, powersports dealer, located in Litchfield, IL. We are looking for a part-time employee with strong bookkeeping/accounting skills to add to our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Light Speed and the powersports industry. Action Powersports will train the right applicant, but a proven track record as a bookkeeper is a minimum qualification.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage accounts receivable and payable
• Reconcile cash, all bank accounts, receivables, payables, and inventory on a monthly basis
• Prepare detailed financial reports
• Process payments
• Conduct daily banking activities
• Maintain historical records by filing documents
• Maintain petty cash fund
• Follow accounting policies and procedures
• Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process
• Assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
• Evaluate accounting and internal control systems
• Developing and monitoring business performance metrics

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, 1-2 years experience of bookkeeping, excellent math skills, detail oriented and time effiencient. Proficient in Microsoft Office and accurate data entry. Independent worker, self-starter and effective decision maker.

Preferred Qualifications: 2 year accounting degree, experience with Light Speed, and background in retail accounting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
