The Payroll Manager at Sollis Health will process and verify payroll information to meet and execute on our bi-weekly pay schedule partnering with our external payroll vendors and the Finance and People Operations teams.

Full Time- 40 hours/week- Hybrid (Mostly remote, some work in office)

Responsibilities:

• Manage Sollis' Payroll team and processes by liaising with department leads, the People and Finance teams ensuring payroll is completed accurately and on time.
• Accountable for the accuracy and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll in accordance with federal, state and local regulations and wage/hour laws.
• Have a deep understanding of Sollis' compensation models including hourly and salaried employees as well as our bonus, commission and other payment structures.
• Develop opportunities to optimize payroll processes across all Sollis locations nationally.
• Acts independently and in conjunction with the payroll team and vendors to resolve all payroll inconsistencies timely and accurately
• Create and optimize payroll policies and procedures and reporting any needed changes.
• Manage and be the subject matter expert for UKG, our time tracking system.
• Provide on-going payroll analytics and insight reports to HR and other stakeholders as well as ad hoc requests.
• Performs duties related to Sollis' overall payroll function including the review, correction, and approval of data.
• Provides payroll guidance on taxation and other issues making recommendations to adjust as needed.
• Resolve payroll-related discrepancies with employees .
• Review and approve requests for manual payroll checks and payments for vendors
• Promptly respond to any payroll-related questions from employees and managers
• Performs related duties as required

Experience
We believe extraordinary people come from a variety of backgrounds, but ideally, we would expect that you have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, HR, Finance, Business Administration preferred
• Healthcare experience in Payroll strongly preferred
• 5+ years of prior payroll experience required
• Experience with UKG Ready or Kronos required
• Experience working with PEOs a strong plus

Range: $100,000-$120,000

This is the anticipated rate/range Sollis Health reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position in New York City. Sollis is a multi-state employer and this rate/range may not reflect the pay for positions that are performed solely in localities outside of this location. Actual pay is dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, location, education, etc.
