We are looking for a highly motivated, self driven and energetic Retail Sales Associate that can provide excellent customer service. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs', present and answer questions about our products and services. The ideal candidates will possess sales/retail experience, have visual merchandising skills and hold a basic retail math background.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers and make them feel welcome in the store;
• Provide energized, helpful, genuine and knowledgeable service to the customer throughout the store about specific products;
• Cross-sell products and stay up-to-date with new products/services;
• Keep store stocked, clean and in order at all times;
• Help customers check out at the register;
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers;
• Light cleaning and daily maintenance;
• Possible opening and closing responsibilities;
• Know the store’s daily goal and actively ensure the goal is met;
• Self-confident and self-motivated with a positive attitude and approach to work;
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager

Skills

• Basic math skills
• Operate POS cash register.
• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
• Understanding of the retail sales process and knowledge of inventory stocking procedures;
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships with customers and co-workers
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shift to meet the customer demand and needs of the business, which includes holidays, weekends and nights.
• Ability to climb, reach, bend and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to sell, share product information and history.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills i.e. Word, Excel, email.
• High school degree
