The role of Sales Manager is a hybrid position that includes contribution to the Sure Controls management team and input to organizational strategy. The Sales Manager leads the external sales and internal technical support teams. The role also includes coordination of the company’s marketing activities. Expectations for the role include 60% field/remote work, including support of experienced sales individuals, as well as mentorship of less experienced sales associates. Direct management of key strategic accounts and suppliers. Growth of customer base and partner referrals is expected. The role is both Sure Controls ambassador to our customers and voice of our customers with our associates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team developing for long term growth.
  • Provide input in setting and attaining annual goals for Delivering Sm;)es - Customer Satisfaction (CSAT)
  • Drive the achievement of annual revenue and margin goals for the organization
  • Adhere to company best practices to be the best possible internal customer to your internal suppliers
  • Promptly respond to customer needs with value-added solutions that enable customer success
  • Provide leadership for company initiatives, new markets, and products
  • Act as a listening post for customer, competitor, and technology insights
  • Active participant on the management team to further enhance the Sure culture, improve the overall business processes of the company and decide the strategic initiatives that lead to growth

· Actively participate in Performance Management Plan and Individual Development Plan processes.

· Promptly respond to customer needs with value-added solutions that enable customer success.

· Keep Microsoft CRM current for all relevant work.

· Develop key partner relationships to facilitate integration project and technical support growth via referrals.

· Engage and provide guidance to Sure Controls Account Managers as referral business dictates.

· Assist Account Managers in areas of expertise (technical integration projects) that can aid the further development of the Sure sales team.

· Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma, college in Engineering or related field.

Experience and/or Training: 5+years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sales experience in distribution or manufacturing required, as well as core technical competence for our products and services and how they can be applied to benefit our customers.Strong Communication skills (listening, questioning, speaking), Time Management skills. Presentation skills, Farmer and Hunter Approach, ability to deliver results on a timely and consistent basis, proven track record of success, and ability to identify customer pain points (issues) and match them to a service (solution). Financial knowledge (P/L, ROI, Payback) and ability to analyze competition/market and use that information to differentiate Sure Controls.

Licenses/Certificates: A valid driver’s license, insurance and a reliable automobile are requirements of this role.

Technology/Equipment: Computing/Software Skills including Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics and Microsoft Office Suite, Social Media Platforms

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Associates orBA/BS Degree in Engineering or related field.

Experience and/or Training 10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sales experience in distribution or manufacturing required, as well as robotics knowledge and their place in automation. Strong Communication skills (listening, questioning, speaking), Time Management skills. Presentation skills, Farmer and Hunter Approach, ability to deliver results on a timely and consistent basis, proven track record of success, and ability to identify customer pain points (issues) and match them to a service (solution). Financial knowledge (P/L, ROI, Payback) and ability to analyze competition/market and use that information to differentiate Sure Controls.
