MedWise exists to provide patients with an improved healthcare experience. In service of that aim, the Senior Administrator of Revenue Cycle Operations will serve as a strategic leader for the revenue cycle process.

This is a high-level executive role focused on managing payor relations, participating in pricing strategy, supporting business development efforts, and supporting the delivery of patient-centered care at all MedWise locations.

The ideal candidate will have experience with vendor relationships and complex negotiations involving multiple parties. As MedWise grows, we anticipate entry into a variety of geographic markets and lines of service. The Senior Administrator will be expected to partner with other executive leaders to ensure that each of these efforts generates the greatest value for all relevant stakeholders.

This position will report to the Chief Medical Officer to ensure alignment with the clinical services arm of the enterprise and will manage all other revenue cycle personnel.

Position Specifications

1. Required education/license/certification: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Administration or related field

2. Desired education: Master of Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Administration or related field

3. Required experience: 5-7 years of experience in healthcare operations leadership; 5 years of experience in healthcare finance, payor relations, payment strategies or related field; Demonstrated proficiency in negotiating healthcare payments with third parties; and Demonstrated proficiency in managing and improving customer experience such as would be achieved through a patient-experience focus in healthcare or, alternatively, a customer service leadership role in a different industry

4. Desired experience: 10-15 years of experience in healthcare finance, payor relations, payment strategies or related field

5. Required skills: People-oriented, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Proficient verbal and written communication skills and a professional demeanor. Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, prioritize tasks, triage patients, and take vital signs. Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy. Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate administering medication(s) ordered by providers.
