Job Summary:

Covid, Inc., a 40-year-old, Tempe based manufacturer of Audio-Visual Connectivity Products is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. This is a Challenging and Rewarding Opportunity for a highly motivated, detail orientated individual with Accounting experience.

Covid has been manufacturing innovative audio-visual connectivity solutions for more than 40 years. Markets that rely on Covid products include education, medical, corporate, government, and houses of worship. A variety of Covid products can be found in courtrooms, auditoriums, lecture halls, board rooms, patient rooms, and many high-profile government installations through the country.

Job Responsibilities:

• Involved with the daily Accounting activities. This includes AR / AP, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Responsible for month end activities and journal entries.
• Responsible for the preparation and production of month-end financial reports.
• Responsible for the preparation and production of accurate and timely monthly financial statements
• Reconciles and maintains balance sheet accounts.
• Processes company payroll
• Works directly with Management to improve accurate accounting and reporting procedures.
• Performs variance analysis duties i.e., reviews discrepancies in invoices / inventory / financial reports

Qualifications:

• College degree in accounting is preferred.
• A minimum of 5-years’ experience working in an Accounting capacity.
• Must be familiar with the GAAP principles.
• Possess advance proficiency in the use of personal computers including programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Must be detail orientated.
• Possess excellent organizational skills.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
