JOB SUMMARY

Performs patient set-up for overnight sleep testing, records overnight polysomnographic (PSG), and video recordings of patient’s activity for diagnostic evaluation. Communicates and coordinates patient testing and care with sleep center Manager.

Santiam Sleep and Neurodiagnostic Center provides patients with diagnostic testing to identify and treat various sleep and neurological associated disorders.

REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved program or 2 years of experience in the field of sleep medicine, having worked in a sleep clinic or sleep laboratory.

Must hold a current RPSGT credential

Current unencumbered Oregon Health License for Polysomnography

BLS Certification

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect, analyze and integrate patient information in order to identify and meet patient specific needs. Including; Physical, mental, emotional needs during polysomnographic and neurologic testing process.

Follow procedural protocols to ensure collection of accurate and appropriate data.

Perform routine equipment care and maintenance.

Communicate with and assist the Medical Director and Sleep Manager in all aspects of sleep center operations.
