Software Developer

The Software Developer is responsible for performing functions such as evaluation, testing, debugging, deployment, and support of systems and applications supporting the Tendergrass business processes and operations. Other functions include the analysis, installation, modification, and support of the Tendergrass order management framework and operational support systems. The Software Developer will collaborate with the Systems department in the planning, execution, and direction of business analysis and providing systems solutions. This role reports to the Vice President of Information Systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
• Develop, implement, and maintain systems automation to increase system efficiency and reduce the toil of human intervention in any business process
• Monitor and test application performance, identify solutions and work to develop system enhancements
• Participate in the design and implementation of new operational support systems
• Develop and maintain documentation for supported applications, processes, and training material for internal employees and Systems personnel
• Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with internal teams to drive Tendergrass initiatives
• Assist in the ongoing evaluation of vendor relationships and consulting arrangements
• Communicate with vendors and other systems personnel for problem resolution
• Participate in general IT operations, provide technical user support, and training to Tendergrass team members
• Work with Operational and Human Resource departments to develop and execute systems onboarding and offboarding processes
• Maintain, develop, and promote security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Collaborate with Operational teams to coordinate IT policies
• Build policies and scripts to support company-owned devices
• Develop tooling and processes to facilitate asset management, provisioning, and tracking
• Additional duties as assigned based on the growth of Tendergrass’ technical needs

Requirements

• Experience administering SaaS applications like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, Dashlane
• Experience supporting financial applications like QuickBooks, Acumatica
• Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, JavaScript, Python)
• Experience developing system automation workflows and integrations
• Experience working with software development tools and code repositories
• Hands-on experience supporting macOS and Windows environments
• The position will require a portion of the work week (on average about 50%) to be completed in person at Tendergrass main office
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Systems Engineering preferred
• 3+ years of experience in IT, systems infrastructure, or software development work environment preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
