Job Description:

A staff accountant is expected to have a thorough knowledge of professional accounting & audit principles, practices, and procedures, general tax knowledge, and to exercise independent judgment within established accounting systems. The major responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to:

• Perform a full range of work of compilation, accounting and bookkeeping engagements
• Assist in audit and review engagements
• Prepare individuals, partnership, corporation, and trusts tax returns
• Follow-up and communications with clients
• Assist in financial analysis, review fiscal records, monitor financial transactions, and ad-hoc reports preparation

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting required
• Experience in Lacerte tax software working experience preferred
• Experience in public accounting firm preferred
• Highly-motivated and detail oriented team player with high ethical standards
• Ability to work independently, under general supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and occasional stressful environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally
• Fluent in English and Chinese preferred

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
