G & O Towing has been in business for over 60 years we are Placerville’s trusted leader in Roadside Service and Towing in El Dorado County. New state of the art med duty wrecker, flatbeds, and wreckers.

Job Description

• Towing and or Recovery of Vehicles, Jump starts, Tire Changes, and Lock outs.
• Complete detailed truck inspections, individual job invoices and driver hour logs.
• Communicating effectively with customers, property owners, law enforcement officers, and fellow team members
• Utilizing technology such as texting, digital dispatch call acceptance and use of a tablet and smartphone
• Properly complete tow tags and get necessary signatures

Requirements:

• Must be willing to work, days, nights, and weekends, with flexibility for varying shift.
• Be 25 or older
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Possess basic mechanical aptitude.
• Lift/push/pull a minimum of 75 lbs
• Successfully pass drug tests in compliance with Company Policy, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and Company's contractual requirements.
• Must submit to and pass background check as per Company policy and Company's contractual requirements.
• Superior customer service as drivers works in the field directly with Law Enforcement and as well as the general public
• Must have a positive attitude, and have knowledge of El Dorado County
• Some Physical activity required such as standing, sitting, stooping, bending and lifting as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
