In addition to Lexington’s main campus, we have a satellite campus at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.

CoSW is currently seeking a Web Developer. The position’s major job responsibilities are as follows:

CoSW Website Development
  • Develop, build, and manage CoSW program web assets (landing and web pages) to promote, grow and disseminate programs.
  • Collaborate with CoSW administrative and support personnel to ensure timely and accurate updates and troubleshoot issues.
  • Lead the development and programing of all CoSW web pages
  • Ensure timely implementation of necessary updates to comply institutional guidelines as well as federal, state, and international regulations.
  • Design engaging pages that uphold brand standards and are reflective of the quality programs offered by CoSW.
  • Initiate quality assurance and continuous improvement activities to ensure web pages are well-structured, optimized, and compatible with various browsers, devices, operating systems, and updates.


CoSW Website Content Management
  • Create and manage protocol for CoSW faculty, staff and administrators as it pertains to web updates
  • Develop and manage workflows that document and support efficient work, from request to task completion.
  • Collaborate with internal and external colleagues and stakeholders to communicate impacts to restructured and new web resources.
  • Maintain backup files and information recovery plans.
  • Lead site security audits and manage processes and procedures for web security
Research, Reporting and Testing
  • Research new technologies and update or develop skills to meet constantly evolving technical requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of existing and emerging best practices and applications. Lead development testing and compatibility routines; confirm readiness for production environment.
  • Troubleshoot errors and optimize web performance.
  • Participate in university web development and technology communities of practice.
  • Build web analytic reports to share with leaders and make recommendations for improvement based off data gathered.
Supervision and Oversight
  • Supervise staff associated with web content and asset development
  • Initiate and complete routine personnel assessment and evaluation in a manner consistent with UK and CoSW policies
  • Oversee web vendors deployed in service to CoSW sites
