What you will do:

The HR Generalist position carries out responsibilities for the administration of the employee’s life cycle from offer letter to the end of employment. This position will have the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, payroll administration, recruitment coordination and assistance, employment offers, and employment law compliance.

• Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
• Performs benefits administration to include change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees
• Responds to and investigates employee relation issues
• Recommends and provides feedback on new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements
• Conducts new-hire orientation
• Prepares and processes bi-weekly payroll for all employees
• Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations
• Maintains the employee handbook with updated resolutions and other pertinent information
• Represents the company for any unemployment claims
• Responsible for guidance to all employees to insure consistent adherence to HR policies, procedures, and practices
• Manages workers compensation claims
• Completes all new hire and/or terminations
• Develops and assists in the recruiting process
• Creates job offer as directed by hiring manager
• Travel required to other offices including but not limited to Prior Lake, Blaine, and Shakopee. Time at locations may vary based on business need.

To qualify for this role you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar discipline, preferred
• 3-5 years’ previous experience in a Human Resources capacity
• HR Certification
• Attention to detail
• Problem Solving/Analysis
• Project Management
• Communication Proficiency
• Ethical Conduct
