Position Title: Machine Operator - 1st or 2nd Shift

Wage: $17.00 - $18.00/hour

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Hours: 5:00am - 3:00pm or 3:00pm - 1:00am (Monday-Thursday)

Machine Operator responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Inspect products
  • Observe woven cloth
  • Thread yarn, thread and fabric through guides, needles and rollers of machines for weaving, knitting or other processing
  • Insert fabric in top of machines that will perform shearing and knitting process
  • Trim excess material or cut thread off finished products using scissors
  • Operating bailer machine to bail mixed fabric into bails
  • Perform changeover of carding machines
  • Pull long yards of fabric out of knitting machines
  • Remove roving rolls from carding machine bags and place on carts
Machine Operator requirements:
  • Stand for duration of shift
  • Lift up to 30lbs
  • Push, pull, reach, twist, or stoop throughout shift
