San Juan Basin Public Health is hiring a part-time Medical Provider to work in the sexual health clinic. The position’s responsibilities include providing primary healthcare including screening, diagnosis and treatment of STIs, breast and cervical cancer screening, birth control, PrEP for HIV, opioid risk reduction and immunizations. The qualifications for the position include an active Colorado advanced practice nurse (APRN) or medical doctor license, proficiency at microscopy for vaginal wet mount test, prescriptive authority and experience working in sexual healthcare settings providing physical exams and diagnoses.
